Celebrate Mother's Day at the Tricia Davis 5K for Sinai House! Proceeds from the event will directly benefit our mission to enable families to move from homelessness to independence by providing safe and affordable housing, comprehensive social services and financial support. Our one-hundred year-old buildings needed extensive renovations this past year. Help us reach our ambitious fundraising goal and replenish our commitment fund. The event will be held in person at Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, but you may also register as a virtual participant.
BE AWARE THAT THE  EVENT MAY CHANGE TO ALL-VIRTUAL IF THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE REIMPOSES RESTRICTIONS THAT PRECLUDE HOLDING THE RACE IN PERSON.  If social distancing rules are in place on the day of the event, there will be a rolling start between 8 am and 8:15 am for the 5K. The winners will be determined by Chip time rather than Gun time.

The Homes and Hearts Shabbat Service on Friday, November 11th was extra special because we were celebrating the 30th anniversary since the founding of Sinai House in 1992. At the festive oneg after the service, attendees listened to live music by Eugenio Ibarz on Bass, Peter Runk on Keyboard, Julie Siegel on Trombone and Don Squires on Guitar while enjoying food celebrating the countries of origin of some of our alumni residents. Thank you to many people who donated new and gently used items for the Secret Shop at the Sinai House Holiday Party.

Thank you to the current and former Sinai House staff, residents, board members, volunteers, and Temple Sinai clergy who submitted a video reflection and special thanks to Rabbi Noah Diamondstein for editing it and lending music from his recently released album, “My Whole Heart”.
