Become a Volunteer
Our community is supported by volunteers who serve in a variety of ways. Volunteers have several opportunities to work directly with the families of Sinai House.
Become a mentor and spend time with a child once or twice a month.
Tutor elementary and middle school-aged children in math, reading, science or Language Arts.
Play is essential for the cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being of children and youth. Volunteers play board games, take a short walk to the park, or watch a movie.
Annual Landscaping/Beautification – Each Spring, volunteers spend a few hours grooming the grounds of Sinai House. Gather a group of friends and family to help us spruce up the space for our families.
Bar and Bat Mitzvah Projects - We encourage students to choose Sinai House for their service project. Projects include reading to toddlers, zoo trips, and organizing car washes and bake sales and donating the proceeds to Sinai House.
